Admissions Requirements

How do I know if I meet the admissions requirements?

Refer to the program admissions requirements on the website to verify you meet the requirements. Apply to ECAC for your application to be assessed to confirm admissibility.

I don’t meet the English requirements. What should I do?

Students may be considered for admission at ECAC if he/she is able to demonstrate strong ability to read and write in English Language. This will be determined by requesting the candidate to a test in English writing and oral communication.

Seat Availability

 

How do I know if a seat is available for my program of choice?

Check the Seat Availability Status page for updates.

The program is “open” on the Seat Availability Status page. Does it mean I will be guaranteed a seat?

As availability changes constantly, seats may become unavailable by the time applications are reviewed. Students applying to an “open” program have higher chance of getting an offer, however seats are not guaranteed.

The program is “waitlist” on the Seat Availability Status page. Can I still apply?

Program seats are not available, however qualified applicants may apply to the waitlist during the application periods and receive notification from ECAC if seats become available. Application fee is not refundable, and seat availability cannot be guaranteed.

How do I apply?

Complete the form online and submit. This will take you to the payment page for payment or application form which could be either through Debit/Credit Card, Direct Bank Transfer or Cash Deposit into designated account. You can also download the application form here, complete and return to upload the completed form through the upload link which will take you to payment page.

What’s in a complete application package?

A complete application package includes the following:

  • Completed application form
  • Evidence of Payment of application fee(non-refundable)
  • Educational documents
  • Passport photograph
  • Other supporting documents to meet the program-specific requirements (if applicable)
When can I apply?

If the program status is “open” or “waitlist”, applications are accepted during the application periods. If the program status is “closed” or “not open”, applications are not accepted.

When will I receive an offer letter?

If a program seat is available for your preferred intake, you may receive an offer letter within 2 to 4 days after submitting a complete application. If no seats are available, qualified applicants may be accepted on the waitlist. No offers will be available until seats are open. Seats are not guaranteed.

Waitlist

How does waitlist work?

Even if a program is full, seats may become available due to student cancellations or additional sessions added. Qualified applicants may be placed on waitlists and get notified when seats become available.

How can I join the waitlist?

Check ecac.com.ng/seat-available/. If the program status shows “waitlist”, apply to ECAC and pay the application fee. Qualified applicants may be placed on the waitlists.

Will I be guaranteed a seat if I’m on the waitlist?

Being on the waitlist does not guarantee an offer or a program seat. Application fee is non-refundable even if no seat opens up.

How long do I have to wait?

Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a seat, and the wait time cannot be estimated. Some students get offers within a few day, some never get offers.

How do I know my waitlist status?

There is no regular update available. Waitlisted students will only be contacted if an offer is available.

Can you let me know what my position is on the waitlist? How many people are waiting before me?

This information is not available. Waitlist status changes on a constant basis.

If I don’t get an offer, will I be guaranteed a seat for the next intake?

Waitlisted applicants will be moved automatically to the next available intake.

Fees and Payments

How can I pay the application fee?

Application fees can be paid by direct transfer to our account or cash payment through bank. Include the means of payment appropriately in the payment section of the application form. If paying by cash or debit card, request for bank details by email to study@ecac.com.com

How much tuition do I have to pay, and when?

Students pay the tuition deposit of 50% to confirm their program seats, and will pay the remainder of the tuition and other fees to continue their programs. Tuition deposit amounts vary by programs. Tuition and other fees are payable on a continuous basis based on the courses in your program and when those courses are scheduled. Information about future term payment amounts and due dates will be sent to students before they continue to the next term.

What if I don’t pay my tuition fees by the deadline?

Failure to pay tuition fees by the deadline may result in late fees or removal from your programs/courses. Letters and transcripts may not be issued if students have fees owing.

How can I pay the tuition fees?

Tuition fees can be paid by many different methods. Check the Fees & Payments section on the website for details. Wire transfer information will be provided when offers are issued.

Other Questions

When are the breaks at ECAC?

Breaks vary depending on programs, and some of ECAC’s programs are continuous without a break. The exact dates of program breaks will be provided with class schedules before the start of each program.
